I gave up music when I got to Grade 5 Clarinet having nowhere available for beginner level musicians to play, every orchestra wanted grades 7 or above and I got fed up playing to the 4 walls of the house.

I made the decision to start a band in 2021 in order to connect with adult musicians who were just starting out and give them a platform to showcase their musical abilities. More experienced players are welcome, especially if you want to learn all about Swing/Latin rhythms and improve your improvisational skills. The music is geared toward students in grades 1–3.

We are still currently a small, close knit, group grown into a full band with a mix of frontline instruments and a full rhythm section.

So if you have an instrument sitting under the bed or are a beginner player looking to make new friends and have a giggle with like minded people come along and give us a go.
